First job of the day was to remove the snow from the solar panels on the roof so that the batteries would recharge during the day.
As we unpacked the bikes a very inquisitive Robin flew around us looking for a few crumbs to eat. He very nearly got into the van to come home with us.
The early morning light was amazing as we rode up Glen Lui towards Derry Lodge and then up Glen Derry. The fat bikes did a great job on the fresh snow.
The trails today were the opposite to yesterday – rated as a black difficulty level but felt more like a blue. Lots of fun to ride and amazing views everywhere you looked. And then someone had a bit of a fall :). Luckily a soft landing.
