We have brought the van south of the border this time and are staying in Keswick in the Lake District. The campsite is at the top of Derwent Water and is a short stroll into town. Ideal for catching up with friends over a beer and some dinner. The pink skies at sunrise this morning were beautiful over the water.
Today we did the Back O’ Skiddaw trail on our mountain bikes hoping it would be a bit quieter as it was a Friday and this trail is usually popular with walkers. We weren’t disappointed …… it was fairly quiet and it was a great ride.
And we did a quick blast round the BMX track in Keswick at the end …… the boys just about kept up with the other 5 yr olds 🙂
Off to the pub now for a well deserved pint.
