Catbells Walk, Keswick

It was a wild and windy day but the cloud did keep clearing to give us views of the amazing landscape. This is a really interesting walk with steep climbs, minor scrambles and 3 mini summits along the way.

The walk back was along Derwent Water and was lovely through the trees. The giant hands carved out of wood were a feature installed to recognise 100 years of the National Trust. I couldn’t resist ….

We finished the day with dinner at Merienda in Keswick. The chocolate fondue was a wonderful creation but didn’t last long.
