Saturday we enjoyed being back on the trails we love including the Lairig Ghru and Morlich singletrack. It was a moody but warm and still day – great for mirror images in the lochs.

Illya cooked a feast of fillet steak, grilled haloumi and grilled potatoes on his mini Webber grill which we washed down with a lovely Merlot. Great way to end the day.
On Sunday we awoke to a lovely sunny day and after a fun couple of hours on the local trails at Upper Burnside we enjoyed a cuppa in the sunshine. Someone hogged the scotch egg so I had to make do with home-made cheese sandwiches.
Loving weekends away in the van after all this time.
