It feels good to be back out in the van again. Last night we travelled up to Braemar, an old favourite location of ours in the Cairngorms National Park.
Managed to fit in a spin round the local trails before sunset. It was a lovely warm evening and we found some new trails in the woods as well as the poshest bug “hotel” that we have ever seen.
Finished off the evening with the usual BBQ feast cooked by Illya. I wasn’t that impressed with his technique for parboiling the sweetcorn though….. in the kettle?!? The tea before bed was interesting.
Thoughts are with our close friends who were supposed to be here and had to turn around half way due to a family emergency. We miss you.
