Loch Eanaich

After all the rain last night we thought we’d avoid getting drenched cycling through the undergrowth of the singletrack and so instead we headed out to Loch Eanaich on the gravel roads.

The clouds were low but the view was still worth it as the lack of wind meant a perfect mirror image in the water. We didn’t hang around long to enjoy the view however as the midges were out in force. Aren’t they supposed to be gone by mid September?!?

We stopped for a pint at the Old Bridge In on the way back followed by chips from the Happy Haggis. A lovely end to a great holiday.
