After collecting the van last weekend, the first task we had was to stow all of our gear. As we’d downsized from the last van we had to rationalise a bit but we managed to get it all in with some room to spare.
For our first trip away we decided to travel North to one of our favourite locations, Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park. We’ve missed doing this for the last few months.
It got pretty cold overnight despite the time of year. Not sure I packed the right bike riding clothes!
But in the end the sun came out to play and the purple heather that this area is known for was in full bloom.
The perfect end to a perfect day with a BBQ and a beer.
