We were recently introduced to Pitmedden Forest trails through some work we are doing with the Tayside Trail Association. So when the opportunity arose we went to explore for the weekend.
We found a lovely farm at The Clink which had a small number of pitches, all with sunny aspects and wonderful views. The price was pretty good too!
The bike trails were all accessible by a short ride from the campsite. There are several pockets of trails in woods that all join up along gravel roads which run along a circular ridge. The trails were super dry and fun and twisty.
We had a great day out after which we sat in the sun by the van. What a sunset!
Gem of a find with the bonus of being only an hour from home. We’ll be back!
