It was lovely to be back in Aviemore for the start of our seasonal pitch. I don’t remember the autumn colours holding out so late in prior years but it was beautiful and surprisingly mild weather.

We enjoyed cycling the old favourites including the Bothy Run and the Larig Ghru. It was a shame that several tea shops were closed or undergoing repairs but November is the quietest month up here so many businesses take vacation. We made up for it with the takeaway sausage roll from the Rothiemurchus farm shop which we toasted in the RidgeMonkey. I think it was the best sausage roll I have ever had!

And it was lovely to be back in the van after a few weeks break. Now starting the snow dance to bring on the winter season. ❄️☃️🏂⛷️
