Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from the van.

We enjoyed the atmosphere in the Old Bridge Inn for a late drink on Christmas eve where Illya was delighted to find a Trinidadian rum.

We had a great cycle on the fatbikes today. We headed south from Aviemore down the famous “Bothy run” towards Feshiebridge, enjoying some lovely singletrack trails.

Christmas dinner is not too shabby. Started with salad and smoked salmon terrine. Followed by roast potatoes, sprouts and a giant “pig in blanket” sausage. Chocolate “salami” for afters thanks to an excellent recipe recommendation (thank you Delia!). All accompanied by pink champagne. Yum.
