Ski Ready!

Yesterday we made some adaptations to the van garage as we wanted to accommodate the ski equipment alongside the bikes. We plan to spend a lot of time in Aviemore this winter and will therefore have the option of skiing on the hill or cycling in the Rothiemurchus estate all in one visit. Great flexibility but means carrying more gear!

We’d been mulling over the design for some time now and headed off to the DIY shops to see what we could find. It turned out that this black guttering did the trick just perfectly. We were able to mount the gutter rails along the back wall of the van to keep the ski equipment out of the way and also to catch any drips from the wet equipment.

Quite a neat job we think. Now we just need some more snow to fall !
